Great complex scent very sexy yet fresh

Absolutely love this perfume. The scent goes on a little strong so be careful with how many sprays you use but it is long lasting and I have gotten many "Wow you smell great!" compliments with it. Definitely a new favorite.More detail ...

The one and only

At first I wasn't terribly impressed with this scent but it really grew on me the more I got accustomed to its intricate lace work of notes that are woven into one glorious perfume. This is simple yet complex at the same time an eclipse of scents the bottom layer being a rich plum with it's velvety aroma enveloping wearer's skin in a blanket of warmth and sparkling golden amber and tantalizing mix of vanilla and musk shining though the warm base give it that addictive kick that makes me want to smell my wrists all day long.



The fruits are slightly muted here this scent is no fruit salad and it's perfect for any time of the year or any occasion. It's actually great for cloudy a Monday morning to brighten up anyone's day. Like a cashmere sweater this wraps me in warm cozy luxurious but still updated aroma of a modern oriental scent. I can see why this is called The One it really smells like perfection for those who like the warm and heady scents but it's really wearable and light enough to be enjoyed by a wide range or tastes.

Burberry London- I'm a Convert

Was using philosophy's various light scents discovered this Burberry London sample in my last Sephora shipment. Went to Macy's and bought the set for under $77-lotion shower gel and 3.3 oz fragrance. Fretted over price until I actually used the products-layering them. Recieved SO many compliments! Not "an old lady's perfume"- not strong nor weak- it has an elegant floral fragrance.

top notes: rose clementine and honeysuckle.

heart notes: tiare flower jasmine and peony.

Light flowery sexy!

I was intrigued when I saw that amazon.com also sold body products such as perfume and make up. How can you review a scent and convince people to purchase it? I can't exactly post a scratch and sniff pad online. I can say that this is one of my all time favorite perfumes. It smells summery light fresh and refreshing somewhat like Happy by Clinique. The scent also lasts for a few hours unlike some other cheaper perfumes. Another bonus is that the packaging is beautiful: the perfume comes wrapped in a slender white box with a piece of rice paper that has describes flowers in a few different languages. More detail ...

When someone tells you how good you smell when you're wearing "Omnia" he or she really means it.

Now they may not know why they're attracted to this fragrance but it's warm and definitely "come hither" with a blend of mandarinsaffron and white chocolate. Yes white chocolate.

I have a skin that doesn't get along with most fragrances something just seems to turn them into something they are not but not this fragrance. A relatively perfect perfume

Wow wow wow. Can I say "WOW!"



Before I actually describe the fragrance please know I'm describing Kim Kardashian's "To-Go" version of the Voluptuous fragrance (in other words it's the smaller - $35 - version of the original one). The bottle itself appears much different than the picture shown above and at the time of this writing not available at Amazon (I got mine in-store at Sephora). The To-Go version comes in a light lavender almost rectangle body - which at first glance appears to be an opaque colored bottle. On close examination however the bottle is subtly transparent - especially when held up to the light. Very subtle Kim. I like! Also it was made AND manufactured in the USA not in China. The centrally positioned logo is designed in its own right. I'd compare the logo to be a cross between the reverse Cs of the Coco Chanel brand - and the side of the bottle to be Ms. Kardashian's version of a seemless textured black-ink patterning that could fit in the same league with Louis Vuitton (judging by the seemless pattern of the logo on the sides of the bottle). Her first name is imprinted along the matching lavendar metal collar her last name on the back. The dark purple duraplastic (slightly transparent) top of this glass bottle appears to be the same as the original "Voluptuous." As far as comparisons to other brands I'd say the bottle top is a le petite version of the bottle top of Versace's Crystal Noir a personal favorite.



Now on to the scent! Oh my my my. I'm wearing it right now and I am so in love.



When I first smelled it in the store I sprayed the tester on paper and asked my husband his thoughts. His words were: "Mmmmm... Smells like expensive candy!" I asked him if I should get it and he said "Oh yeah." That being said it gets male approval.



After spraying my neck and wrists I checked every so often to see how long the perfume actually LASTS to get an idea of its average duration. Nothing is worse for me than having to re-spray perfume several times a day to keep the scent going. This one maintained its smell for about 3 hours after that it became a little faint. That's almost twice as long as Sarah Jessica Parker's "Lovely" perfume which I'm also fond of. The first initial spray has a top note that has sweet gardenia very floral. The middle and base notes must have taken Ms. Kardashian quite a bit of time to make "just right." If it were any sweeter it would be unbearable. And if it were not AS sweet as this it wouldn't be quite Kim. That being said this cologne smells precisely the way I'd envision the way Kim Kardashian would smell - high society temptuous and pretty-package. The smell reminds me a LOT of Escada's "Island Kiss" - so if you like the sweet candy kind of flavor you would like this. It's quite feminine and floral.



The scents in this include: Mandarin Honey Suckle Orange Blossom Pink Jasmine Tuberose Sensual Spice Lush Gardenia Jacaranda Wood Tonka Bean Vanilla Orchid Sexy Musk Creamy Sandalwood.



It's relatively easy to spot the gardenia and jasmine. The vanilla orchid was quicker to recognize after an hour or so.



The only thing I have a hard time understanding is why the perfume is named Voluptuous. I suppose if this bottle were the same round/curvy shape as the original bottle I could understand that. But this To-Go version is rectangle which cosmetically doesn't really fit with the name. My only critique is that if or when Ms. Kardashian creates another perfume she consider all sizes of the bottles to reflect the brand. Otherwise from looks alone these appear to be completely different perfumes.



A lot of heart went into the making of this perfume and considering Ms. Kardashian has her reputation on her line with her name on the bottle I'd say she did a FINE job. It's designer. It REALLY is.More detail ...

Warm and gently sensual scent

Every now and then you find a scent that resonates with your personality and just smells "right". For me "Brit" is one of those. It is a light oriental underlined with warm sweet notes (vanilla almond). It is intense but gentle. I find for daywear that the Eau de Toilette is best - the scent lingers but is never overpowering. Interesting but not bad . . .

I find this perfume to be quite interesting and like nothing else I own. I usually wear Noa (cacharel) Une Fleur (chanel) or Pure Grace (philosophy) so I normally like a light floral scent. I was really excited about trying this when it came out but the first time I smelled this from the bottle it did not appeal to me which was a surprise after hearing Oprah rave about it. The second time I thought what the heck and put some on in the store. I found that this perfume develops into quite a "lovely" and sensual fragrance once it has time to interact with your body chemistry. What counts is that my husband likes it on me just to note: he did not like it when he smelled it straight from the bottle either. This perfume lasts a long time which is not a surprise since it is eau de parfum. Delicious!

I don't usually go gung-ho over fragrances--I've owned a few over the years that I liked and found attractive in fragrance but when I first smelled Euphoria in a magazine ad I was hooked. The scent is warmwoodyfull and sweet with a light oriental touch. And what's best is that Euphoria smells creamy as though once you spray it on your skin it seeps into your skin as though it were a lotion. If there is one fragrance that is a Must-Have for 2005 Calvin Klein's Euphoria is it.More detail ...
